PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water culture device capable of preventing the propagation of algae, supplying oxygen contained in air to the roots of a plant to stimulate its growth, and enabling the easy observation of the growth state of the plant, when the bulb of the plant is cultured in water. SOLUTION: The water-draining hole of a transparent water culture container 1 is closed with a stopper. A filler type pump 5 to which a receiver 3 for the bulb of a plant, etc., is attached is placed in the transparent water culture container 1 in a posture that an air blowout port 8 is downward directed. The outside of the water culture container is covered with a cover which is used for shutting off a light source and has an opening or closing window. The bulb 4 of the plant, etc., is put on the receiver 3, and water or a culture liquid is poured in the water culture container in an extent that the roots or bulb of the plant is immersed in the water or the culture liquid. The filler type pump 5 is pushed to supply air from a suction port 6 to an air receiver 9 through an air pipe 7 and a air blowout port 8. Oxygen contained in the air received in the air receiver is absorbed from the roots of the plant. When the growth state of the roots of the plant is observed, the opening or closing window is opened to confirm the growth state. |
