PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular friction clutch device having superior mountability to normal vehicles and good stroke efficiency, and wherein a correlation between an interposing force of a facing and a hydraulic pressure of a release cylinder device is easily and stably determined. SOLUTION: In a vehicular friction clutch device performing torque transmission between an engine and a transmission by interposing a facing 12b of a clutch disc 12 between a flywheel 11 and a pressure plate 13b integrally rotating with the flywheel 11 but reciprocatable toward the flywheel 11, an interposing force of the facing 12b is generated by pressing the pressure plate 13b against the flywheel 11 by means of a hydraulic cylinder device 18. Desirably, a positioning device 20 is provided, moving a return position of a piston 18c when a hydraulic pressure of a hydraulic pressure chamber 18b formed by a cylinder 18a and the piston 18c of the hydraulic cylinder device 18 is discharged, in a direction of enlargement of volume of the hydraulic pressure chamber 18b so as to follow the abrasion of the facing 12b. |
