PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of the cooling system of a refrigerator, and to prevent the dew condensation on the decorative plate of the refrigerator by reducing the intrusion of thermal loads into a refrigerator. SOLUTION: A refrigerator is provided with a partitioned section 1 having partition plates 15a and 15b; a decorative plate 14 which is provided in front of the pates 15a and 15b, is held between the plates 15a and 15b while the bent sections 14a and 14b of the plate 14 are brought into contact with the rear surfaces of the plates 15a and 15b, and has a U-shaped cross section; and the heat radiating-side refrigerant tube 12 of a refrigerating cycle unit arranged on the back of the plate 14 and filled up with a heat insulating layer 9. The lengths of the bent sections 14a and 14b of the decorative plate 14 are adjusted so that the heat of the tube 12 may not flow out from the bent sections 14a and 14b.
