PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly heat the whole body of a food in a heating device by a high frequency. SOLUTION: This heating device is equipped with a heating chamber 3 in which a food 1 is housed, and a cooling device 5, and the food 1 is heated by a high frequency generator 4 at the same time while the food 1 is cooled. By such a constitution, the surface of the food 1 which is easy to be heated, is cooled, and while retarding the advance of the heating, the food can be heated to the inside by using the characteristic of high frequency which is easy to penetrate to the inside of food, and both of the surface of the food and the inside of the food can be uniformly heated.
