PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for diagnosing and repairing a coke oven, capable of carrying out strong repair having long life by accurately grasping position to be repaired to carry out repair, by removing attached carbon and deteriorated refractory to form healthy repaired part and making brick surface after thermal spraying repair flat. SOLUTION: This diagnosing and repairing apparatus has a cart 3 for advancing and retreating the interior of a chamber oven type coke oven, an observing and diagnosing device 9 having a range finder, a carbon combustion removing device 12 for burning and removing attached carbon, a mechanical chipping removal device 10 for removing the brick surface of wall surface and/or attached carbon by mechanical chipping, a thermal spraying device 11 for heat- spraying a refractory onto the wall surface to carry out repair by the refractory and a driving device 4 located in the front of the cart 3 and used for spatially transferring the observing and diagnosing device 9, the mechanical chipping removal device 10 and the thermal spraying device 11.
