PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame-retardant thermoplastic resin composition having flame-retardancy and drop impact resistance at a thin-walled state and suitable as a thinwalled molded article by compounding a rubber-reinforced styrene resin with a specific organophosphorus compound and a specific composite rubber-based graft polymer. SOLUTION: The objective flame-retardant thermoplastic resin composition is produced by compounding 100 pts.wt. of a rubber-reinforced styrene resin with 1-20 pts.wt. of an organophosphorus compound expressed by formula I [R1 to R8 are each H or a 1-5C alkyl; Ar1, Ar2, Ar3 and Ar4 are each phenyl group which may be substituted with an organic residue free from halogen; X is a group of formula II or the like; Y is direct bond, O, S, SO2 or the like; (n) is an integer of >=0; (k) and (m) are each 0-2 and k+m is 0-2] and 0.01-10 pts.wt. of a composite rubber-based graft polymer produced by the graft- polymerization of at least one kind of vinyl monomer to a composite rubber composed of a polyorganosiloxane and a polyalkyl (meth)acrylate.
