PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform marine transport of a crane without using any reinforcing member. SOLUTION: A crane is equipped with a front leg 9 and a rear leg 10 having upward extending supporting columns 12 at the ends and two sets of running lockers 13 furnished for each of the legs 9 and 10, and when this crane is to be transported by sea, the lockers 13 in such a condition as turned approx. 90 degs. relative to the crane moving direction in the service condition are fixed to the ends of the legs 9 and 10. The weight of the whole structure over the supporting columns 12 is borne only by the lockers 13 without use of any reinforcing members, so as to enhance the stability of the crane under transportation.
