PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen printing machine constituted so as not only to reduce the labor associated with the treatment of a defective substrate but also to enhance production efficiency. SOLUTION: A screen printing machine is equipped with a substrate photographing means 4 for photographing the surface to be printed of a substrate P, an image processing means 26 processing the image obtained by photographing the substrate P after printing by the substrate photographing means 4 to calculate the area of a solder paste coating region, a discriminating means 27 for discriminating whether the area of the solder paste coating region calculated by the image processing means 26 is smaller than a preset lower limit value and a control means 10 allowing a screen to approach the substrate P when it is discriminated that the area of the solder paste coating region is smaller than the lower limit value and driving a squeegee to perform re- printing.
