PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform the removal of phosphoric ion and the sterilization of microorganism in the same treating process by using a solid agent for phosphorus removal and sterilization prepared by solidifying an agent for removing phosphoric ion existing in sewage and a sterilizing agent for microorganism for treating sewage such as night soil, domestic miscellaneous waste water. SOLUTION: The solid agent is a mixture of the phosphoric ion removing agent with the sterilizing agent and is prepared in the form of a tablet by blending the powder of the phosphoric ion removing agent and the powder of the sterilizing agent to have the concentration proper to the removal of the phosphate ion and the sterilization of microorganism, adding a binder such as boric acid or the like to mix and charging the mixture in a tablet forming die to compress it. At the time of being used, the removal of the phosphoric ion and the sterilization are performed by arranging the phosphorus removing sterilization solid agent at a position before a discharge port 19 of a septic tank 6 having an anaerobic treating tank and an aerobic treating tank and bringing the treated water passed through the anaerobic and aerobic treating processes into contact with the phosphorus removing sterilization solid agent.
