PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain easy and comfortable exercises even for a long time without concentrating local stress in an ankle or a joint or the like by permitting the movement orbit of a support body by means of guide rails to be an almost oval which includes a long axis and a short axis in a nearly vertical surface and is close to the walking motion of a person. SOLUTION: A walking exercise implement 1 is provided with a supporter 3 erected from a case 2, an arm 2 arranged at the upper end of the supporter 3, a pair of steps 5a and 5b disposed at the side of the case 2 and the guide rails 6a and 6b disposed on the left and right side surfaces of the steps. The guide rail 6c is arranged between the steps 5a and 5b and lock tools 8a and 8b for hooking feet are arranged on the steps. Then left and right feet are respectively placed on the steps and the feet are locked by the lock tools so that the steps are rotated with the shaft of the support body as a center together with the motions of the feet. The steps are freely rotatable in the support body, moved along the guide rails 6a, 6b and 6c in coincidence with the motions of the feet and moved like the motions of the feet in the case of walking.
