<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flue gas desulfurizer capable of realizing a required desulfurizing ratio even if the flow speed of exhaust gas in a tower is increased. SOLUTION: In a flue gas desulfurizer spraying an absorbing soln. into an absorbing tower to remove sulfur oxide or the like in flue gas, spray piping 3 is provided along the flue gas flow passage of the absorbing tower 2 and a plurality of spray nozzles 4 are provided to the spray piping 3 and, since the drops of the absorbing soln. sprayed from the spray nozzles 4 are not sprayed horizontally as is conventional but sprayed slightly upwardly by attaching the spray nozzles 4 upwardly, the distance up to the inner wall of the absorbing tower is extended and the gas-liquid contact time of flue gas with the drops of the absorbing soln. is improved and desulfurizing efficiency can be enhanced.</p> |
