<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer for a roller bearing difficult to cause defective lubrication. SOLUTION: The retainer 11 of a roller bearing 10 houses rollers 16 in pocket parts 19 demarcated by installing a support part 18 in rim parts 17 and 17. The outer peripheral surface of the support part 18 is formed into a level differently inward in the radius direction relative to the outer peripheral surface of the rim parts 17 and 17, and also reduced surfaces 20 having reduced radiuses are formed on the outer end parts in the outer peripheral surfaces of the rim parts 17 and 17. The width dimension L1 of the surfaces 20 is made 2/3 or less of the width dimension L2 of the rim parts 17 and 17.</p> |
