PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automotive part made of a polyester resin having excellent mechanical properties, heat resistance, fatigue property, dimensional stability, chemicals resistance, weatherability, and surface appearance. SOLUTION: This part is prepared by molding a polyester resin compsn. which is compounded with 0.1-40 pts.wt., per 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic polyester, layered silicate whose exchangeable cations within its layers are exchanged by org. onium ions. It is pref. that a reinforced polyester resin compsn. is prepared by compounding 5-60 pts.wt. polycarbonate (C) with 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic polyester (A). |
