PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a hybrid vehicle which realizes improvement of fuel economy as compared to the past, by generating a large deceleration as possible with a power generation of an electric motor so as to increase energy recovery. SOLUTION: A controller 16 determines a possibility of re-acceleration of a vehicle based on required braking and driving force detection results which are detected by an accelerator opening sensor 22, a brake switch 23, and a throttle opening sensor 28 for detecting the required braking and driving force, and based on road environmental state detection results detected by a navigation system 17 which detects a road environmental state surrounding the vehicle. Based on this re-acceleration possibility determination result, a clutch releasing vehicle speed is changed. Further, the clutch is controlled in accordance with the release vehicle speed change result. |
