PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable biopsy tissue to be securely cut and collected to the last by slightly offsetting the sizes of a pair of facing open ends on the forceps cups so that one end of one forceps cup bites in the open end of the other forceps cup when the pair of forceps are closed. SOLUTION: Open ends of a pair of forceps cups 11, 12 are formed with slightly different sizes so that the outer periphery part on the open end of a first forceps cup 11 abuts on the inclined plane on the open end of a second forceps cup 12 so that the tissue cutting edge part 11a of the first forceps cup 11 bites in the inside of the tissue cutting edge part 12a of the second forceps cup 12 not only along the longitudinal direction but also around the whole peripheries of the open ends of both forceps cups 11, 12. |
