PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a preparation for external use for skin sufficiently exhibiting the characteristic drug action of cell activation agent and moisture-retaining agent and having excellent skin aging prevention effect, skin roughening prevention effect and moisture-retaining effect by making the preparation include and acerola extract, a cell activation agent and a moisture retaining agent. SOLUTION: The objective preparation contains (A) an acerola extract and (B) a cell activation agent (e.g. deoxyribonucleic acid, adenosine triphosphate, serum deproteinizing extract and placenta extract) and/or a moisture-retaining agent (e.g. hyaluronic acid, condroitinsulfuric acid, and dermatansulfuric acid). The extract of the component A is produced by extracting a fruit of acerola which is a fruit tree belonging to the genus Malpighia with a proper extraction solvent at low temperature, normal temperature or under heating. The preferable compounding amount of the above component is 0.00005-5 wt.% for the component A in terms of dried solid, and 0.00001-10 wt.% for the sell activation agent and 0.00001-70 wt.% for the moisture-retaining agent of the component B. |
