PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the reduction in life of an elevator under a specific environment, particularly, a load detecting device by providing a load detecting device box on the load detecting device set under the floor of the car of an elevator rising and falling through a traction machine. SOLUTION: A car 6 is connected to a balancing weight 7 by a main rope 3 to rise and fall. In the lower part of the car 6, the load of the elevator car is detected by a load detecting device 8. A load detecting device box 9 is set on the load detecting device 8, and a heat source 10 is set within the load detecting device box 9. According to this, the temperature and moisture in the load detecting device box 9 can be kept constant to prevent the reduction in life of the load detecting device 8. The heat source 10 provided within the load detecting device box 9 is used also as an inspection light for maintenance and inspection works within the pit of the elevator. |
