PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the rigidity of a side frame member from increasing resulting from provision of a tie-down hook by providing the tie-down hook in the vicinity of a lower end of a cabin. SOLUTION: An L shaped tie-down hook 35 is welded to a lower surface of a lower surface part 28 of a frame cab 28. According to a vehicle body structure for a vehicle having such a constitution, mounting of tie-down hook to a first sub frame is not made and thereby the rigidity of the first sub frame is not increased resulting from no mounting of the tie-down hook thereto. Accordingly, when a shock load over a specified value is applied from the forward to the front parts of the first sub frame and a second sub frame 14 via a front cross member or the like, the tie-down hook exerts no influence. The first sub frame and the second sub frame 14 are smoothly depressed in order from a vehicle forward end to ensure a sufficient crush stroke for effectively absorbing the shock load, thereby alleviating the shock. |
