PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the mud cutting of a bucket good in a civil engineering machine by disposing a mud cutting member made of rope-like material such as a chain in a contiguous and loosened state along the inside wall faces of a bucket main body. SOLUTION: A mud cutting member 14 formed by arranging a number of pieces of chains in a lattice-like manner and joining their intersectional points mutually is disposed in a contiguous and loosened state along the inside wall faces of upper and lower and rear faces of wall parts of a front face-opened type bucket main body 6, the four corners of which are secured to the parts near the opened side end peripheries of the upper and lower face wall parts 1, 3. Furthermore, a long arcuate leaf spring 15 is set to the opened side periphery of the lower face wall part 3 from the upside part of the rear face wall part 2; which whose lower end is fastened to the lower face wall part 3. When sediment is discharged from the bucket main body 6, the mud cut member 14 moves to come off the wall face of the bucket main body 6 by the agency of operation force of mud discharge force or reaction and the leaf spring 15, so that mud and sediment can be readily scraped down therefrom.
