PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the mutual combination of adjacent blocks in the same step by forming a block adapted to a retaining wall being curved in a state of the retaining wall slope projected outward in its curved part in addition with the slope inclination to be parallel in its upper and lower sides, and its width dimension to be gradually reduced from the bottom side toward the upside. SOLUTION: A block 1 adapted to a projected curved retaining wall being curved in a manner of the retaining wall slope projected outward in its curved part in addition with the slope inclination is formed in parallel in its upper and lower sides, and its width dimension to be gradually reduced from the bottom side 1a toward the upside 1b, i.e., a dimension of the upside 1b is made smaller than that of the bottom side 1a, so that it is formed to be a trapezoid in its front shape. A longitudinal projection column 15 formed at one central part of a side face forming a longitudinal joint end face and a longitudinal recessed groove 16 formed at the other side face of an adjacent block 1 are joined so as to position blocks in the same step. When the block 1 is piled up on the projected curved retaining wall, the lower side of the side face joint end with the adjacent block 1 in the same step is prevented from being opened to a practical degree, so that its mutual joint property can be ensured.
