PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint construction and a method therefor between steel pipe pile and a foundation concrete construction, which make unnecessary the welding of strip plate or the like for stopping slippage, reduce time period of work and construction cost, and are capable of easily and definitely transmitting axial force of a pile to the foundation concrete structure. SOLUTION: One knot or a plurality of knots 11a, 11b having a predetermined height are formed at predetermined intervals in a region of head length embedded to a construction of foundation concrete 4 of steel pipe piles, and are jointed to the steel pipe pile and the structure of foundation concrete 4 and the slippage is prevented by the knot portions 11a, 11b. Or, ring-shaped pile head jointing steel bars (filling steel bars for jointing pile head) are fixed to the outer peripheral surface and/or inner portion of the steel pipe pile head portion where knot portions 11a, 11b are formed, tip of the head portion of steel pipe pile and the reinforcing bar for jointing the ring-shaped pile head joint are embedded in the structure of foundation concrete 4, the steel pipe pile and the structure of foundation concrete 4 are jointed, and the slippage stopped by the knot portion and the steel bar for ring-shaped pile head jointing.
