PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand guide type rolling compacter which is inexpensive and small-sized. SOLUTION: A bar handle pivoted in the rear end side of a frame and a support frame 14 are connected to each other through a boosting force mechanism 40 and when the bar handle is manually and laterally operated to steer the rear side rolling and compacting roller 16 by a specified angle, the front rolling and compacting roller 15 is reversely steered by the same angle. Since the front and rear rolling and compacting rollers 15, 16 are steered by the lateral movement of the bar handle, steering cylinders and pipes are not required and a pump driving a rolling compacter can be miniaturized and hence, a rolling compacter can be made small-sized and inexpensive.
