PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce metallic fine particles and a metallic fine particle dispersed body excellent in dispersibility and stability, and to provide a method for producing the dispersed body. SOLUTION: A metallic compd. and a polymer compd. are dissolved in a polar aprotic solvent or a basic nonaqueous solvent in which permitivity is >=10, and the number of doners(DN) is >=15, this soln. is mixed with a soln. in which a reducing agent has been dissolved, which is reduced, and the solvent is removed, by which a metallic fine particle dispersed body in which particle size is about 10 nm, and the distribution of the particle size is uniform can be obtd.
