PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a creep phenomenon, enable a transmission to lightly perform speed changed operation, and suppress a slip of a hydraulic transmission means to improve the transmission efficiency in a transmission gear for small vehicles, which is provided with the hydraulic transmission means comprising a hydraulic torque converter in a transmission path between an engine and a multistage transmission. SOLUTION: In a transmission gear in which the crankshaft 2 of an engine and the input shaft of a multistage transmission M are connected together through a hydraulic transmission means T, a speed change clutch Cc which is in series with the hydraulic transmission means T, is interposed between the crankshaft 2 of the engine and the multistage transmission. Further, a lock-up clutch Lc is interposed between a pump impeller 50 and a turbine wheel 51 of the hydraulic transmission means T.
