PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater muscle training device capable of effectively training muscles in more parts of the body. SOLUTION: This device forms water flows to apply a load to a user by a water flow generator 16 including an axial flow pump 20. The load applied to a user is changed by the repetition of generation and stop of water flows. Therefore, not only the muscles to function when a constant load is applied but also other muscles, especially those to make body movements opposite to the movements by the former muscles, can be trained.
