PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device provided with a constitution capable of inhibiting a dispersion of a movement quantity at the time of an intermittent sending out action and preventing a generation of an image failure. SOLUTION: This device intermittently sends out a sheet material S such as a paper along a direction perpendicular to a width direction and is formed to a unit structure in which a movement driving part 1 of the sheet material S, a suction part 2 of the sheet material S and a paper-discharge part are integrally and together disposed. The movement driving part 1 effectively applies friction force to the sheet material S sucked by the suction part 2 to prevent a variation of the movement quantity.
