PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor which is improved in efficiency by arranging an oil supply mechanism for reducing pressure loss. SOLUTION: A compression part 2 and an electric motor 3 are arranged in a sealed vessel 1. The compression part 2 is mainly composed of a fixed scroll 4, a rotary scroll 5, a shaft 11 and a main bearing 9. A suction passage 9a lead to a suction port of the compression part 2 is formed on the main bearing 9 on the side of the motor 3. A suction pipe 13 is communicated to the outside through the sealed vessel 1. An electrically driven motor chamber 17 is arranged between the compression part 2 and the motor 3. An intermediate pressure back pressure chamber 6a is arranged on the center portion between the back surface of the rotary scroll 5 and the main bearing 9. An oil supply passage 16 is formed on the main bearing 9 and the fixed scroll 4 so as to communicate a discharge chamber 19 and the intermediate pressure back pressure chamber 6a. In such a scroll compressor, a disc 20 is arranged in the electrically driven motor chamber 17, which disc 20 is fitted to the shaft 11 for supplying oil from the bottom of the chamber 17 to an aperture of the suction passage 9a.
