<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and efficiently perform the destructive and decomposition of garbage and to dispense with a special equipment for deodorizing by using cedar wood chip as a bacteria bed for highly efficiently performing the fermenta tion degradation and elimination of the whole organic waste containing the garbage. SOLUTION: The destructive and decomposition of the garbage is performed by using the cedar wood chip and the cedar wood chip to be used is prepared by naturally drying cedar raw wood for 6 months as a pre-treatment and heat treating for 20 hr. After that, the raw wood is worked into a chip form having 0.5-4 mm chip diameter. In eliminating and degrading the garbage, the water content of the chip is preferably 60-70% and because the temp. of the inside part increases to about 60 deg.C though the temp. is preferably set to 40 deg.C, the stirring by aeration is preferable. Bacteria belonging to Bacillus megaterium species is used for effective components to deodorize.</p> |
