PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production device of a hollow different diameter shaft and its production method capable of reducing its weight and easily controlling a thickness of its bulged part. SOLUTION: This production device for putting a production method of a hollow different diameter shaft into practice is provided with upper/lower forming dies 2, 4, and these forming dies 2, 4 are made of plural split die parts 6 (6a-6e), 8 (8a-8e) split and apart in the axial direction of the hollow different diameter shaft. After a fluid pressure is supplied in a tube stock A to be formed into the hollow different diameter shaft, these split die parts 6, 8 are die closed in the axial direction of the tube stock A and brought into tight contact each other.
