PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate projection of a lever for regulating the size of flame of a lighter. SOLUTION: Means 30 for opening/closing a gas ejection hole 32c is arranged at an upper of the body, the flow rate regulation filter 45 of a gas flow rate regulation means is arranged at an upper of the body, a flow rate regulation rotary member 21 also serving as the body of a gas injection valve 20 is screwed to the bottom part of the body and a connecting rod 42 therefor is passed through an encapsulation tank 12 of the lighter body. When the gas flow rate is regulated, the rotary member 21 is displaced in the direction of a screw shaft by turning a regulation ring 41 arranged on the bottom of the body. The displacement is transmitted through the connecting rod 42 to the flow rate regulation filter 45 which is thereby compression deformed to regulate gas flow rate.
