PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the assembling work of a reinforced core to an edge body, and to surely prevent the deformation of a fusuma. SOLUTION: A groove 3 is formed in the longitudinal direction of one side surface 2a of a wooden edge body 2, and an undercut part 3b reaching to a bottom surface 3c of the groove 3 is formed in an inner side surface 3a of the groove 3 in the longitudinal direction from a part in the vicinity of one side surface 2a. A reinforced core material 4 material is of U-shaped section, its bottom wall 4a is abutted on the bottom surface 3c of the groove 3 of the edge body 2, and its side wall 4b is fitted to the undercut part 3b formed on the inner side surface 3a of the groove 3. A hole group comprising three holes 5 provided with small intervals in the longitudinal direction is provided in the bottom wall 4a of the reinforced core 4 with specified intervals in the longitudinal direction, and a cut-and-erect projection 6 is provided in each hole 6.
