PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain miniaturization as a whole by providing an operation box containing a drum, an operating member for unwinding a wire connected to the window of a building from the drum to open the window, a handle for rotating the drum and winding the wire to close the window, and an automatic opening device for opening the window. SOLUTION: When a push button 8 is pressed, the lock to a drum 34 is released, and the drum 34 is rotated counterclockwise to unwind a wire 38a, so that a window is rotated downward and opened. When the upper end of a handle 13 is pulled outward from the non-use position, and the handle 13 is rotated clockwise, and the wire 38a connected to the window frame is wound on the drum 34 to rotate upward and close the window. An automatic opening device 36 is formed of a small-sized electric motor 37, an eccentric cam 40 and a limit switch LS3. When the reduction ratio of the small-sized electric motor 31 is increased by use of a gear head, the small-sized electric motor 37 itself can be miniaturized to make the whole body compact.
