PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the connecting strength of a back plate while preventing the protrusion of a back plate connector into a cabinet in a folded area of the back plate and firmly fix the back plate to a cabinet frame when the back plate divided, folded and packed in a compact form is unfolded and assembled. SOLUTION: A holed tape 2 is adhered to an area where a back plate 1 for a cabinet is divided into members to be abutted to one another to connect the divided back plate members 1a, 1b in a foldable manner. An adhesive 3 is applied down to the area including the interiors of holes 4 of the holed tape 2 for the back plate 1 unfolded when a cabinet is assembled. A reinforcing cleat 5 is adhered thereto with the adhesive 3 for fixing the back plate 1 on its periphery to a cabinet frame.
