PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the miniaturization, weight reduction and cost reduction of a cooked rice shaping machine which can supply an equal amount of cooked rice to each of the plural rows of cooked rice-compressing shaping mechanisms from one hopper and which can prepare shaped cooked rice bodies having homogeneous compressed density in good productivity. SOLUTION: A cooked rice shaping machine (A) comprises the following units: a cooked rice charging hopper 2; a cooked rice transferring and supplying mechanism 3 having stirring bars 27 in the upper part; plural rows of cooked rice compressing shaping mechanisms 4 and 5 for compressing and shaping cooked rice (a) into a specified thickness; freely opening and closing shutters for cutting the compressed cooked rice (a) into shaped cooked rice bodies (a1) having a specified shape and size; and a transferring mechanism for the shaped cooked rice bodies (a1) which are serially arranged. A cooked rice supplying mechanism (B) of the shaping machine (A) comprises the following units: laterally plural rows of cooked rice compressing shaping mechanisms 4 and 5 arranged at the forward and lower part of the cooked rice transferring and supplying mechanism 3; a triangle cooked-rice-guide 23 for distributing the cooked rice (a) falling above a separator 15 for parallelly separating the plural rows of the mechanisms 4, 5 from each other, to each of them; and a sensor 26 for detecting and controlling the amount of supplied cooked rice placed at a position higher than the top of the cooked-rice-guide 23 and apart from it. |
