EL INK AND INPUT MEMBER HAVING LIGHT SOURCE COMPRISING THE EL INK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EL ink which is suitable for printing and is resistant against humidity and to provide an input member using this EL ink as its illuminating member. SOLUTION: An EL layer 30 consisting of a transparent electrode 22, an EL ink layer 23 and a back electrode 25 is formed in a predetermined position on the back surface of a PET film 21. This EL ink comprises an EL powder whose main component is zinc sulfide covered with a titanium oxide film, a binder powder and a solvent. The total content of the EL powder and the binder powder is 30-70 wt.%. The weight ratio of the EL powder and the binder powder is in the range of 15:85-90:10. A resist layer is formed on the back surface of the EL layer and an operational electrode 27 is formed on the back surface of the resist layer. A spacer 28 having a through-hole 28a is adhered to a predetermined position. The EL layer is integrally formed in the range corresponding to the operational electrode 27 and in its vicinity and in the range corresponding to a liquid crystalline display device 50 fixed on the PET film.
