PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink which gives highly colored handwriting and is less prone to deposit the dye by blending a red dye of a specific structure, an aliphatic alcohol having a specific number or less of carbon atoms, a resin soluble in the aliphatic alcohol and an alkylamine ethylene oxide derivative. SOLUTION: A red ink contains 2-15 wt.% of a red dye of formula I, 40-90 wt.% of an aliphatic alcohol having 4 or less carbon atoms such as ethyl alcohol, 1.0-20.0 wt.% of a resin soluble in the aliphatic alcohol having 4 or less carbon atoms such as a phenolic resin and 0.5-10.0 wt.% of an alkylamine ethylene oxide derivative of formula II. A coloring agent for complementary color such as yellow dyes, a viscosity modifier such as high boiling alcohol-based solvents, an anticorrosive agent such as benzotriazole, a plasticizer, various surfactants are further blended as needed. In the formulae, R1 is hydrogen or methyl; R2 is hydrogen or 1-2C alkyl; A is an acid dye, a direct dye, an anionic surfactant or chlorine; R3 is an 8-18C alkyl; and m+n is 1-15.
|
