MOBILE CRANE WITH REMOVABLE BOOM HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the ahead visual field in intra-yard movement even in the condition that a boom head unit installed at the tip of a top boom is left in place. SOLUTION: A mobile crane fitted with a boom head mounted removably is equipped at the tip 22 of a top boom of an expansion boom with a tilting device 4 to tilt the bottom 32 of the boom head 3 to ahead the boom and tilt the bottom 32 of the boom head relative to the tip 22 of the top boom to ahead the boom. When this mobile crane is in intra-yard movement, the bottom 32 of the boom head is tilted ahead so as to improve the ahead visual field.
