PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general-purpose thermal insulating material retainer capable of being used irrespective of an interval of common rafters and a thickness of a thermal insulating material because there has been no general-purpose thermal insulating material retainer prepared in advance and construction at site has been obliged conventionally. SOLUTION: A resin plate 1 having a hollow structure capable of ventilating in the direction of length is provided, and a plurality of bent lines 3 extending in the direction of length are stamped on both sides of it. Preferably, many small holes 4 are provided on a thermal insulating material contact face of the plate. Moreover, the plate 1 may be constituted by bonding a plurality of plates. In this case, it is preferable to shift upper and lower plates forward and backward and bond them.
