PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a digging apparatus from deeply slipping into a ridge and being broken when the digging apparatus is lowered. SOLUTION: The range between a high-ranking point (X3) at the specified value upper than a grounding point (X2) detected by a digging up height sensor 24 for detecting the digging up height for digging up root vegetables by a digging up apparatus, and the maximum digging up depth point (X5) is set as the digging range (L).
