PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a linear actuator be miniaturized at low cost, and provide an efficient structure. SOLUTION: A nut member 3 and a driven member 10 are provided so that they are off-centered from each other. Then, a circumferential part of an internal thread 8 formed on the inside peripheral surface of the nut member 3, and a circumferential part of an external thread 13 formed on the outside peripheral surface of the driven member 10 are engaged with each other. As the nut member 3 is rotated, the driven member 10 is axially displaced while it is rotated. This axial displacement is taken out by an output member 15 connected to the driven member 10 through a ball bearing 16.
