PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accommodation container of a roll-like pressure sensitive paper and a printer using the container with a low traveling resistance of a paper having no possibility that the pressure sensitive paper is injured and is made sensitive to a pressure. SOLUTION: A container 60 accommodates a roll-like pressure sensitive paper 1 in the form of a roll 6 capable of delivering the paper 1 from one end and is provided with a periphery wall portion 71 positioned around the roll-like pressure sensitive paper 1 with a radial space so as to surround the roll-like pressure sensitive paper 1. The container 60 has container bodies 71, 72, 73 rotatably supporting the roll 6 around a center axis X3 and restriction members 77, 78 for restricting that the roll-like pressure sensitive paper 1 in the container bodies 71, 72, 73 are radially enlarged by non-print areas 8a, 8b of the paper 1.
