PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing electromotive reel designed to afford motor output exactly corresponding to each of the changeover positions for a multistep- switchable motor output control lever. SOLUTION: This fishing electromotive reel has such a scheme that, a motor output lever and a rheostat are connected to each other, the value given by the rheostat when the motor output lever is switched to off-position is put to A/D conversion with an A/D converter 11b, and the result is temporarily stored as a precorrection A/D conversion value in a memory where reference A/D conversion values corresponding to the respective changeover positions for the motor output control lever are stored; based on the reference A/D conversion value corresponding to the off-position and the precorrection A/D conversion value, a correction for the reference A/D conversion value is determined; using the above correction, corrected A/D conversion values corresponding to the respective changeover positions for the motor output control lever are determined and stored in the memory; thus, the driving force of a spool drive motor is controlled based on the corrected A/D conversion values.
