SCREEN PRINTING APPARATUS AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen printing apparatus and a screen printing method capable of efficiently adjusting the temp. of paste by small air blow-off quantity and ensuring printing quality. SOLUTION: In a screen printing apparatus wherein a mask plate 12 to which cream solder 17 is supplied is brought into contact with a substrate 9 and a squeegee 16 is slid to print the cream solder 17 on the substrate 9, an air nozzle unit 20 spraying air for controlling temp. on the cream solder 17 on the mask plate 12 laterally is provided and the temp. of the cream solder 17 is held to predetermined temp. By this constitution, the flow of air is not disturbed by the squeegee 16 and the temp. of the cream solder 17 can be efficiently regulated by a small quantity of air.
