PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the temperature of a rotary blade without time delay to ensure and stabilize the cutting over a long time by directly heating the rotary blade formed of a roller consisting of a magnetic material and a cutter edge provided thereon by the eddy current generated by carrying a current to a primary coil. SOLUTION: This heating type cutter comprises a rotary blade 1 consisting of a roller 2 fixed to the tip of a rotating shaft 4 and a cutter edge 3 above a roll 7 for transferring a sheet 8 such as synthetic fiber nonwoven fabric sheet or resin film. The rotary blade 1 comprises a primary coil 5 fixed to the inside with a space from the inside surface and a temperature detecting device 6 buried in the inner part. When a current is carried to the primary coil in cutting the sheet 8, the rotary blade 1 corresponding to the secondary side induces an eddy current and directly generates heat by the Joule heat.
