PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine inlet system which improves space efficiency by eliminating dead space. SOLUTION: This engine intake system is provided with an air inlet port 117A for taking in combustion air for an engine 4, an air cleaner 117 for cleaning the air, and an intake pipe 118 for leading the purified air to the engine 4. The intake system is installed on a construction equipment provided with a radiator 116a for cooling cooling water of the engine 4, and a cooling fan 123 for inducing cooling wind for cooling an oil cooler 116b, the engine 4, the radiator 116a, and an oil cooler 116b. The air inlet port 117A and the air cleaner 117 are disposed on a side opposite the engine with respect to the radiator 116a and the oil cooler 116b. The intake pipe 118 passes an area above the radiator 116a and the oil cooler 116b while connecting the air cleaner 117 and the engine 4.
