PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve effectiveness of side light-shielding while making up perfect glare-proof performance by completely blocking the clearances between corner of windshield upper portion and rearview mirror periphery. SOLUTION: A sunscreen device B comprises a screen 7 and a base frame which has plurality of guide rails. Dimension and shape of the screen 7 is same as those of windshield upper portion that is equally divided in half lengthwise. The screen 7 is equipped with a stowable device. The upper edge of the screen 7 is provided with plurality of projections that are fitted into the guide rail, and the lower edge has a handgrip in the center portion. The screen 7 is drawn along the windshield side from an entrance in the front end of a ceiling to the vicinity of a glass face, so that it covers the upper portion of the windshield completely. Also, the screen 7 moves by means of a screen rail that extends to the side from the entrance to cover the upper portion of the side glass.
