PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable effective use of a retrigerant condensed prior to the stopping of a compressor by providing a first solenoid valve in a tubular channel between a condenser and the compressor and a second solenoid valve in a tubular channel between the condenser and an expansion valve and controlling the opening and closing of each valve by means of the controller. SOLUTION: When operation of an air conditioning device is stopped and thus operation of a compressor 13 is stopped, refrigerant condensed to a high pressure is trapped between a solenoid valve 1 and a solenoid valve 3 when these solenoid valves 1, 3 are closed by means of a controller 15. When re- starting the air conditioning device, the driver or the like turns on a release switch 16 if the duration of the stop is short. By turning on the release switch 16, the solenoid valve 3 is opened and the condensed, high-pressure refrigerant within a condenser 8 or a liquid tank 9 flows through an expansion valve 11 into an evaporator 10. As the liquid refrigerant evaporates within the evaporator 10 at this time, cool air can be supplied to the passenger compartment without waiting for the compressor 13 to start operating.
