PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the operation without taking labor for disassembling and assembling an engine and to provide good cleaning effect without generating knocking harmful to the engine. SOLUTION: An air duct provided between an intake manifold 1 and an air cleaner is detached from the intake manifold 1, and cleaning fluid is injected, in the engine started state, toward the inside of the intake manifold 1 through a mechanical breakup tip 5 attached to an outlet of a tubular nozzle 4 continuous with a cleaning fluid container 6, in the form of fine mist so as to be uniformly dispersed in the intake manifold. Therefore, the injected cleaning fluid is burnt in the engine.
