PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cigarette filter effective for efficiently eliminating carbon monoxide from mainstream smoke generated by the smoking of a cigarette and suppressing the temperature increase of the mainstream smoke in smoking. SOLUTION: This cigarette filter is provided with a carbon monoxide elimination part 11 containing a carbon monoxide elimination agent and a downstream- side filter 12 placed at the downstream of the carbon monoxide elimination part 11. Plural air-passing holes 31 are opened on an area of the downstream- side filter 12.
