PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the lubricating state of a pressure limiter in a fuel injection system capable of applying the fuel pressure to the injector and injecting the fuel by switching a solenoid valve, by upwardly pulling out a return pipe extended from the pressure limiter disposed on a pressure container capable of accumulating the fuel. SOLUTION: The fuel is filled in a pressure chamber 13 of a pressure pump 10 through a fuel filter 19, the fuel in the pressure chamber 13 is pressurized by a plunger 11 pulled up by a cam 12, to be supplied and accumulated in a common rail (pressure container) 23. When a solenoid valve 59 of the injector 26 is lifted up by a solenoid coil 61, a nozzle needle 41 is upwardly lifted by the fuel pressure in the fuel tank 44, and the fuel is injected through a nozzle hole 43. On this occasion, a pressure limiter 24 is disposed on the common rail 23, and the return pipe connected to the limiter 24 is upwardly drawn out, so that the fuel is remained in the limiter 24 to lubricate a valve element and the like of the limiter 24. |
